• When I log in and edit my website, everything looks exactly as I want it to look.

    But when I just look at my website without logging in, as the public would see it, my articles are not being updated, my menu is all wrong, and new articles aren’t showing up.

    What is happening? Why isn’t my website viewing to the public the way it does when I log in to my dashboard?

    Thanks in advance

  • Do you have caching enabled on your site or server? Make sure you also clear any browser caches. What’s the URL?

    Sorry i’m pretty dumb computer wise. Where do I find if my caching is enabled? Also, do I want it enabled or do I not want it enabled?

    If by URL you mean my website name, then it’s https://www.Brentgolf.com

    No problem :). When you have caching ON, it can delay showing updated versions of your site. I can see from looking at the source code of your page that you do have Super Cache plugin enabled on your site – see this:

    <!-- Dynamic page generated in 3.481 seconds. -->
    <!-- Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2013-01-28 23:14:49 -->

    <!-- Compression = gzip -->

    Since that’s a January date, it looks like something may not be working right with the plugin – so under plugins deactivate it. See if that fixes the problem.

    I am having the same problem at https://www.paulweaverforussenate.com and I cleared my cache. I have not had this problem before.

    @paul Weaver – check your SuperCache – this shows up on your site:

    <!– Dynamic page generated in 0.320 seconds. –>
    <!– Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2013-11-26 04:38:35 –>

    <!– Compression = gzip –>

    I’m sorry, but I don’t understand any of this. I did deactivate the Super Cache, but nothing happened. I don’t understand why updates have always worked before and not now.

    You need to reactivate it, CLEAR (delete) the cache and then deactivate it.

    If you need more info about that plugin, see:

    I did some update to the SEO in every page of my website. However when I try to view the result in my browser i get a framed page of my “About Us” page.

    I am new to WP. I was using WordPress SEO by Joost.
    Appreciate your help.

    @victor you need to speak with your theme’s vendors.

    I have not been able to update our site even though on my end I can see the changes. Any thoughts?
