    Hello,

After making changes to my site, I have to wait a few hours before seeing the changes. When I am logged in, I can see the changes immediately so it appears to be a cache issue.

The website is a big one so there is often need for changes to reflect instantly. I have even tried deactivating W3 Total Cache before making the changes but no luck.

I think there should be a setting to make the changes instant instead of waiting a few hours but I can’t find the setting. This has been an ongoing issue and I am hoping to get a permanent fix.

    Thanks

    Hello @jorpdesigns

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to assist you with this.
Can you please specify what kind of changes you are referring to? Is this a simple article update/release or adding a new product, or is this related to any styling changes like CSS or JS changes?
The Purge Policy in Performance>Page Cache specifies the pages and feeds to purge when posts are created, edited, or comments posted.
Depending on the settings enabled, once the content is changed the changes should be visible after reloading the page. Please note that the page needs to be reloaded due to the page is also cached in the browser.
If you are making any changes in the styling of the website, you also need to use the option in Performance>Browser Cache>Prevent caching of objects after settings change
This option adds a random query string to a resource ?xNNNNN. Once any CSS or JS file is changed, all you have to do is click on the “Update Media query string” button on the Browser Cache settings page, which will generate a new query string and therefore force the browser to fetch a new CSS/JS.

    I hope this helps!

    Thanks!

I have the same issue. Clear cache doesn’t do anything anymore.

If you add a parameter on the url, it works (myexample.com?test)

But if you use myexample.com you see an old cache

Uninstall NGINX via WHM. When you log into WHM, type NGINX in the search and then uninstall NGINX Reverse Proxy.

    Hello @maelstrom06

As @djpvma suggested, most likely you have another layer of caching like an nginx proxy.
In this case, you also need to clear the Nginx proxy cache on a server level.
    Thanks!

I later realized that there was separate cache from GoDaddy. After clearing it, the issue was resolved.

    Thanks!
