website not showing updated content

  • i am building this site hmhanamoda.com for a client and I have a very weird problem. Whenever I make any changes to the site, be it changing product images, working on a page or menu etc. the changes are visible on my computer. However, my client sometimes sees a version from several days ago, even after deleting the browser cache and trying different browsers. Sometimes she sees only some of the updates I made.
    There is no server-side caching and there are no caching plugins installed.
    I have tried disabling all plugins but that also didn’t help.
    I can’t think of what else might be causing this.

    I can’t look at your site; there’s a “coming soon” plugin in the way.

    Anyhow, this problem is most likely due to caching. Are you using any caching plugins or a CDN like cloudflare?

    thanks for your reply. I have also contacted the hosting provider and they have found some caching code in the .httaccess file which they have removed. I am waiting for my client to check whether she can see the updates.
    I will let you know if there are still any issues.
