Website not showing up?

  • I’m not sure if this is my host or domain, but my website is down. I can’t access it, can you?

    If you can’t, this is what I’ve done in the last 24 hours.

    Supercharge backlinks into my site ??

    -Installed a few plugins…
    -Edited my .htaccess file
    -Wordpress wouldn’t work so I reverted the changes
    -All normal…
    -Website is dead.

    .htaccess will be the problem. Try removing it altogether and see if it makes any difference (WordPress doesn’t come with one when you install it)

    If not, remove all plugins and try again, if it works, add one plugin at a time to see which one is conflicting.

    Ah, but that’s just it. I can’t access my cpanel for HostGator either…

    Did you pay your hosting subscription? =P

    I’d call Hostgator to get them to check your account. If you can get FTP access, you can then remove .htaccess or modify it.
