Website not running when Wordfence is activated

    Hi
    I’ve just setup a new website with
    php 8.1.13
    MySQL 10.5.18
    WP 6.1.1
    Divi 4.19.4

    As soon as I activate Wordfence I get:

    “There has been a critical error on this website.
    Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.”

    I have no idea where to start looking …?any ideas?

    Hi @macangelo, thanks for reaching out.

    As the critical error message is appropriate for live websites to hide specific errors from visitors to your page, you’ll need to find the error causing this by checking your PHP/server error log files. Your host can point you in the right direction if you’re not sure how to do so.

    It’s possible that a module required by WordPress/Wordfence, such as pdo_sqlite (which was the case with PHP 8.1 on my own server) isn’t checked by default, or at least the error message should show a fatal error of some kind. Feel free to paste the error from your logs here if you need further assistance!
