I am helping a friend with her blog. It is hosted on Go Daddy and we are using WordPress which was installed through GoDaddy. It’s fine on a computer but will not show up on a mobile device. I installed Jetpack, WPtouch and Mobile Website Builder for WordPress by DudaMobile. I currently have WPtouch disabled and DudaMobile enabled. Still no luck. I setup the Dudamobile redirect as it instructed but it’s not working on my HTC phone. The theme I use is called Childishly Simple. Can anyone help please?

  • Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

O.k. tried that and problem still exists.

Can we see the site using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

Your site is directing to mobile.sandysstampinspace.com on my phone. I am using WPTouch and it does not do that. It goes to my regular site address. Something is set to redirect to that URL for some reason. Disable that and WPTouch will work I’m sure of it.

I thought the same thing but I can’t find any setting to disable it. Where would that be? All plugins are disabled. Thanks again for the help.

Disable DudaMobile and re-enable wptouch. wptouch should work right out of the gate. I’ve used it for years and it’s a very good plugin. I actually purchased the pro version.

All the other mobile builders I tried never worked like I wanted them to or as promised.

EDIT: I would undo whatever dudamobile had you do. I bet they had you create the re-direction and that is what’s causing your problems. I can’t remember the place you would do that off hand, but I’m betting that’s where you problem is. The re-direct is set to go somewhere there are no files; hence the error message.

Check with your hosts that this is not a service that they are providing.

O.k. will try both of the last two suggestions. Thanks!

If anyone else encounters this, just go to your GoDaddy Account > Domains Launch > Click on Domain Name > Account Snapshot Hosting Manage > Account Snapshot > Mobile Website Off

Amazing thanks guys I just encountered the same problem. Go Daddy was the problem.
