    1. Sorry, it links to a login page because I had the “private only” plugin still enabled.

    2. I used only lower case letters in site name field.
    3. clone link: https://www.diaclin.nl/vs

I will sent you a copy of the cloner logs.

I think what is happening is that there is a slight bug when the multisite network is in subdirectory mode. It looks like the permalinks are not updating to the new URL.

You should be able to work around this by going into Settings > Permalinks and clicking Save Changes (without changing your settings). This will force WordPress to update the permalinks for that site and should fix it and allow you to use the cloner until we can get a patch for it completed.

    Step 1: Clone as normal.
Step 2: Settings > Permalinks > click Save Changes.

Sorry for the additional step – it will be unnecessary once we fix this bug, but hopefully it will fix your issue for now.

did anyone get this to work?

I am having the same issue

    Getting this message

The Source Site Name (Mysite) may not appear in the Target Site Domain (www.mysite.com/clone) or data corruption will occur. You might need to edit the Source Site’s Name in Settings > General, or double-check / change your field input values.

when i change the site 1 tittle, its not cloning anything from the old site. it looks like a brand new WP site.

    please help

Thanks for providing the logs through support. It looks like custom table names with a dash (like in your case) were causing an issue. We have uploaded an update to the plugin that can be pulled in through the standard WordPress plugin update and it should fix the issue. Please let us know. Much appreciated!

I am still getting this message

The Source Site Name (Mysite) may not appear in the Target Site Domain (www.mysite.com/clone) or data corruption will occur. You might need to edit the Source Site's Name in Settings > General, or double-check / change your field input values.

but when i change the site tittle i was able to clone my site, however i had to use a new url for it, when i used the old urls that i tried before its not letting me clone. very strange.

    however this solved my issue.

    thank you

Which issue exactly? There are several issues mentioned in this thread and the bugs related to them have all been fixed as far as we know.

Hi, oh yeah the cloning of wp website and page not found error.
Hm now i am able to see https://jessicatedcreative.com.au/wp/ but am not able to get to https://jessicatedcreative.com.au/wp/wp-admin…

    please advice, thank you!

Hmmm… hard to say without knowing more about your set up. Is https://jessicatedcreative.com.au the root WP multisite installation? And is /wp/ a new site that you cloned? Are there any other subsites?

Or is /wp/ a new / separate multisite installation?

Have you tried using the normal WordPress Add Site tool from the https://jessicatedcreative.com.au/wp-admin/network tools? That’s what I’d try first and make sure your multisite is working normally with the built in tools. Can you create a new / normal / funcitonal site like that?
