    Hello,
When I look at my website on my mobile phone, it does not appear properly like the demo site. The text is there, but most of the design elements lost. I have seen support threads where fixed width is identified as the problem. I am using a child theme, where I created a style.css file to reference the parent theme design. I do not know how to change/modify the fixed width issue, or if that is my problem. I am new to WordPress and self-taught, so I don’t know much about coding, etc.

    My site is: https://www.bykateholloway.com

    Thank you,
    Kate.

Can you link to a page with the issue?

Thanks Andrew. For example, this is the live demo of the theme and it appears nicely on my mobile: https://webtuts.pl/test/sugarspice/

In contrast, my site https://www.bykateholloway.com looks fine on desktop, but on mobile it is missing the proper fonts, page width, ribbon/menu design feature at the top, etc.

Does that help illustrate the problem?

    Thanks,
    Kate.

Thanks for checking Andrew. Perhaps it is just my phone. I will check from a friend’s mobile device when I have the chance.

I’m on a Samsung Android. Mind telling me which type of device you used?

    Thanks,
    Kate.

My site was having the same issues until yesterday. Has the issue now been resolved?

    Hi Tiramiapursuit,
My site still looks bad on my mobile phone, but in the thread above, it appeared fine for Andrew on his mobile devices. So I’m not sure if it’s my phone/browser, or what.

@k.holloway – my demo website looks like your website on my iPhone, the ribbon is missing but it’s on purpose. The menu is switched to a drop down list.
If you want to disable responsive you can do that from Theme Options. Then your website will look the same on phones and desktop, but on phones users will be forced to scroll extensively to see your content.
