Website misclassified as commercial

    Hi,

    Our website has been classified as commercial and we’ve been told we must upgrade to a Jetpack commercial plan; however, the website does not make any money and is purely a free platform for data professionals to share their knowledge and connect with each other. We post articles they have written, podcasts featuring industry leaders and host free events for them to connect with each other. Konnect with Data does not earn a single cent from any of these. It is purely a volunteer initiative we’ve launched.

    Can you please review the commercial classification as we do not believe it fits your definition of commercial, nor requires a commercial plan as a result.

    Can you please review the commercial classification as we do not believe it fits your definition of commercial, nor requires a commercial plan as a result.

    Our system had classified your site as commercial as it appeared to promote a business. Upon manual review, I can confirm that your site is eligible for a non-commercial Jetpack Stats license. I’ve made that change on our end and you should now be able to access your stats.
