Website Meta Data Isn’t Updating

    I’m trying to get google to reflect the changes I’ve made to my wordpress site. Right now the website shows up as “Dream Home Lottery | Just Another WordPress Site”. However I updated the blog tagline to be “$1.2 Million Grand Prize”. I also updated the meta data in my theme (Divi). However it’s still not reflected in google. Am I missing a step?

    You aren’t missing a step, you’re just expecting Google to update its index quicker than it can. ??

    Google can’t update its index in real-time, it has the entire internet to worry about. Eventually, the next time the googlebot visits the page in question, it will notice the new title and update the index. That can take anywhere from a few days to a few months.
