Website loads too slow after 3.6 upgrade

  • Hello,

    I’m using a premium theme that never gave me problems until today.
    After I updated to the new version of WordPress (3.6), my website now takes over 40 seconds to load it.

    Could you please give me some advice or ways to fix this issue?

    Looking forward to any ideas how to fix this.

    Maybe it’s a Theme issue. I mean, it needs to be updated.. did it happen suddenly after you updated to WP 3.6, right?

    Try deactivating your plugins to see if that makes a difference. If so, reactivate one by one to see which one is being problematic. If not, leave them deactivated and and switch to the twentytweleve theme. If that works, talk to the vendor of your theme about the problem – as these forums don’t support commercial themes.

    I have the same proplem.
    I just reinstalled a new wordpress with the one click installation on bluehost.
    No plugins no themes.
    While the frontent is loading normaly, on the backend it can take ages to load a page.
    I did the installation manualy before with the same problem.

    I just replaced 3.6 with 3.5.2 and everything works fine
