• I am using wordpress with a website hosting from GoDaddy and my website will actually load everything correctly on the page quickly however the browser loading bar always stays stuck thinking that it is not completely loaded yet (I have tested it with Firefox, Chrome, and IE, all of them get stuck like this so I think it’s a problem with the website)
Originally it was just a nuisance because users might think the website isn’t completely loaded yet and try to wait, but when using firebug I cannot actually inspect the elements of the page until the website is done attempting to load more.
I don’t have too many images and no moving items or stuff that should slow the website down.
The problem only happens when I am actually viewing the website pages, when I am in my wp admin it is fine and finishes loading.
The website actually loads and shows all the items pretty quick, it’s just the loading bar that gets stuck.

Anybody? This is getting more problematic because I am working on editing the style.css and I need to be able to use firebug.

Have you tried deactivating plugins and switching to the default theme to see if that makes any difference?

Disabling all the plugins didn’t do anything, but switching to the Twenty Twelve theme did fix it. Is there any way I can fix this without losing my theme? It does not have too many images, so I don’t think that would cause this problem

What theme is it? Images may not be the issue at all.

It’s a custom theme (I think it was originally an edited version of twenty twelve)
