    Hi,
Dev says upon installing Squirrly on a Client site, it becomes slow and causes too much CPU on their hosting. I wanted to clear this up to them and let them know how Squirrly works on the back end and how it loads.

Does it really takes a lot of site speed? What about CPU on web host?

    Appreciate all the replies. Thanks!

    Hey,

Squirrly loads in frontend only if you use Auto SEO from Squirrly in “Squirrly > SEO Settings”.

We’ve tested Squirrly a lot and we optimized it for speed and CPU. The loading time is way faster then other plugins.

As a test, switch off squirrly auto SEO in frontend from “Squirrly > SEO Settings” and check the loading speed.

There are test plugins that show which plugin of theme is using the CPU or slows down the loading speed.

    Hope this helps

    Enjoy Squirrly!
