Website links on share on mobile showing INCORRECT URL

    Hi

    I have a very strange issue (never come across) for my client site who went live approx 1 mth ago

    When I go onto the Contact Page or SHOP Pages or Product Pages on PC, Mobile & IPad all looks fine and the URL looks fine and normal.

    When I go on Ipad & Phone and click on the 3 buttons on browser and click on “SHARE” and want to SHARE the website URL link it shows a WRONG link (not the website, but the original staging URL link from hosting) which is incorrect.

    I have contacted the Hosting people and they say it is NOT there end, but in the WordPress/Woocommerce somewhere …

    I have never seen this issue before and have NO idea HOW to fix it .

    It is happening on anyone who tries to share the site on mobile or Ipad device.

    Have you come across this in WordPress Woocommerce and HOW do I fix it ?
    The permalinks are showing correctly , URL is correct … but when SHARING it is INCORRECT …

    I understand that it is only the sharing link that is showing a wrong link, otherwise everything else is working fine on all devices.

    It seems that a caching plugin has the link saved and it is serving this cached data.

    * As a first step we recommend checking whether you have a caching plugin and then purging all cache from it. Next, you’ll want to configure the plugin not to cache the cart, checkout, and My Account pages. Here’s a helpful guide: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/configuring-caching-plugins/

    * If you do not have a caching plugin, you may want to check with your host if they have any sort of caching enabled, and ask them to disable it.

    * From there, you’ll want to clear your browser’s cache memory, and check if the issue persists. Here’s a guide: https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache

    If these steps do not help, please share a copy of your site’s System Status so we can check deeper. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Site is on Siteground and we have already purged
    Already cleared Cache
    It happens on ANYONE’s phone … so we can’t ask new customers to clear cache when they haven’t been on it before …

    Hosting say it is NOT their end and it is wordpress … never seen it happen before.

    As they always pass the issue onto others …
