    Hello there,

I installed your plugin today and unfortunately the backend of my site runs extremely slowly now, especially when opening the media library or pages.

I also cannot upload images to my WP library. I get the following error: “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”

The images currently in the library also won’t load at all.

I’m running Woocommerce, W3 Total Cache and I’m on a shared hosting plan with Hostgator.

Do you have any idea what the issue could be? Thank you in advance.

Your website being slow is probably not caused by the plugin, but by the fact that your site is on SSL now. If you have a not very fast server, this can be noticeable, especially on the back-end, where a lot of data is being loaded securely now.

I would deactivate w3Tc for now, until you have it all straightened out.

If images are not loading, this can also explain long response times.

To find out what’s going on with your images, you need to check for errors in your console. Right click on your screen, “inspect element”, “console”. Then you should see some errors concerning the images. If you have 403 errors, you might have hot link protection on:

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. I really appreciate it!

Deactivating w3TC made no difference and there are no errors concerning the images, so I’ll have to look into it further.

Thanks again for replying so quickly.
