Website Help

  • I am new to using wordpress and new to making a website. I downloaded a theme and I am unsure how to customize my homepage. The Theme is confusing and I can not find any YouTube videos to help. I am trying to decide if I need to extent the help and get direct help from the Author.

    I did go to Appearance, Theme, Customize but it is confusing. Also some of the “pages” contain ways to customize my website as well. I am not sure where to start from here.

    What is this theme? Have you read its documentation?

    What is the address of the site you need help with?

    What exactly are you trying to accomplish? “Customize” is just too general for anyone here to assist with, except to direct you to the themes’ documentation and/or support channel.

    And note that you can always hire someone to help you with this, as we do in all other aspects of life when you’re faced with situations where we have no clue what we’re doing — unless you have the time, patience, and the inclination to learn the basics of making a website generally, and WordPress specifically.
