Website hacked by Hero Injector

    Hi Everyone,

    My account had been hacked by hero injector today. Luckily I have a back up that I did in february. However, after deleting all the contents and restoring back with my back up, my wp-admin page no longer be able to login with my existing user Id and password. It keeps prompting me that the user name and password does not exist. Help me please!

  • Follow this steps and you will be able access your account..

    1. Log into cPanel.
    2. Under Databases, click phpMyAdmin.
    3. Click on the WordPress database from the left panel list.
    4. Click wp_users from the left panel list.
    5. Under user_login you will see the list of registered users. Under the user whose password you wish to reset, click edit.
    6. Under the user_pass column, clear the value on the far right and replace with what you would like the password to be.
    7. In the Function drop-down menu, select MD5.
    8. At the bottom of the page, click GO.

    Hi, Someone hacked my site and placed a pron offer on it. Can you give me any advise to remove it? It is shown when I log in and on the upper left of the site. unity2212.com. thanks for any help you can offer.

    I had also the problem that my site https://www.schluesseldienst-bremen.net was hacked a few weeks ago. I have deleted the unknown users and reseted the password of the admins. Now i have the problem that they try to get the passwords with a brute force attack on the wp-login-site. Which security plugin should i install?
