• Dear Support,

I have installed the latest WordPress 6.2 with Divi theme on my site [ redundant link removed ] It was working fine, but after installing Gutenberg the editor is not runnable. Then I removed Gutenberg and installed classic editor temporarily.

Can you suggest me a permanent solution for this?

Which specific editor isn’t “runnable”? Divi? Gutenberg/Block editor?

And what exactly happens when you try to open the said editor? Is there any error message you can share? Can you provide a full-page screenshot showing the problem?

    installing Gutenberg the editor

Note that the Gutenberg editor (officially, WordPress Editor) comes by default with WordPress. No plugin installation is needed to have this.

The separate Gutenberg plugin is just the “perpetual beta” version of the built-in WordPress Editor — the testing ground for early adopters to test bleeding-edge and experimental features still under development which may (or may not) ultimately be integrated into the official editor that ships with WordPress.

As a perpetually “beta” and experimental plugin, this can be buggy at times, and you shouldn’t run this on your site… unless you really know what you’re doing.

All this is clearly explained on the Gutenberg plugin’s description page.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

After upgrading wordpress and gutenberg plugin, it shows an error while creating a new post or editing a post.

Error: failed to initialize plugin: et_quicktags

Then, I have removed gutenberg and installed classic editor; it worked.

My question is, how can I use latest wordpress editor (gutenberg) without any problem?

For your information, I use Divi theme latest version.

    Thanks.

Divi is PageBuilder and Theme in one. If and how you can use Gutenberg in the combination, their support should be able to tell you. Since Divi is a commercial product, I would ask you to ask your question to their support: https://divi.help – questions about commercial products are not allowed here in the forum.
