Website down and cannot log into wp-admin after updating plug-ins?
Receiving following error message:
Fatal error: Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require a PHP version “>= 5.6.0”. You are running 5.5.38. in /homepages/46/d118933123/htdocs/Cafe-Carberry.com/wp-content/plugins/clean-and-simple-contact-form-by-meg-nicholas/vendor/composer/platform_check.php on line 25Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

Reading from the error message, I’d login to your hosting cPanel and check if you can set the running PHP version there somewhere and set that to a version higher than at least 5.6.0. (edit: I personally run all my sites with a PHP v7 branch, since atm v8 isn’t too adopted yet to run flawlessly) If you don’t find it right away, feel free to contact your host to aid you with that.
Another option is deleting the plugin via FTP. If you have FTP access to your website, I’d go into the wp-content/plugin folder and either download that folder first & delete it OR rename it. That way you can “deactivate” the plugin and try to access your site again. But, then the features of this plugin won’t work and re-installing it might get your website down again.
