Website down after Updating to 0.4

  • My Website is completely down after updating Protect Uploads from 0.3 to 0.4.

    Where is the plugin located when I connect via ftp? I want to delete it. I cannot delete it via normal wordpress login because it destroyed also the wordpress dashboard.

    If you believe the upgrade is creating an issue, you can delete the plugin at wp-content/plugins/protect-uploads.

    If this is not enough, you can also temporarily rename the .htaccess file (if you have one) to something else in your wp-content/uploads/ folder and see if it helps. Do not delete the .htaccess file if it contains more directives not related to the plugin.

    It should completely remove the plugin manually.
