Website doesnt work after deleting wordfence

    Hello all,

    Today, I deleted wordfence. After deleting it my websites which are ll on the same hosting stopped working. I uploaded the htaccess and user.ini files back on cpanel now the mainpage sometimes shows up and sometimes doesnt, however none of the posts or pages are working. Contacted my hosting provider they said some files are missing on hosting files and need a full backup (asked for a lot of money for server side backup restore) and they also said the required files are not present on installatron backups. So what are my options here? Thanks in advance.

    Deleting the Wordfence plugin will not delete any WordPress core files. Did you attempt to repair any issues found in a Wordfence scan, such as modified files, before deleting the plugin? Are you seeing any specific errors in your PHP/server logs or the front-end of your site to suggest what the site is attempting to do when it fails to load?

    A common failure after Wordfence removal is the firewall still being optimized. Removing the auto_prepend_file line that points to wordfence-waf.php in your .htaccess file can often resolve loading issues on your site when the plugin is no longer present.

    Hello again. I have solved the problem. After uploading the files wordfence provided before deleting it (htaccess and user.ini) back on cpanel I got limited access to the admin panel. And on admin panel settings—permalinks – save, solved the issue. Apparently, it was a small issue got wrong. Thanks for your reply and effort.
