Hi, if I activate the automatic mode on my site, the site remains completely white and is not loaded, unless it has already been visited. In the sense, a visitor who returns to the site will have no problems visiting it, while a new visitor will have problems. The problem is solved by accepting cookies and reloading the page. So I think there is a “cookie” that is set and is used to load the page, but without it, the site cannot be viewed, correct?

On my site I have the following plug-ins active: AddToAny share Buttons (which is correctly loaded and is the only thing you see on the completely white page besides the loading bar), AMP, antispam bee, broken link checker, envira gallery lite , google analytics for wordpress by monsterinsights, “head, footer and post injections” (which currently have no html entered), hummingbird, paypal donations, site kit by google, smush, “social login, social sharing by biniorange”, wordfence security, wordfence assistant, wordefence login security, wpDiscuz, WPForms lite, Yoast SEO, Yoast SEO news.

Is there any solution? Is it because of some plugin that doesn’t work? The problem I started after installing a plugin that is no longer there, but I’m not sure whether this is actually the case or what the plugin is. After all, I only realized it by opening the site incognito (new visitor)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Obviously now the website is working because I have the plugin in manual mode (deactivated because I don’t control the code manually, but I have to found a solution for this)

    Hi @ilpixelmatto,

I’ve heard of this issue before, “smush” is the cause of it. This isn’t because it gets blocked, but because it waits for an event before it runs. By the time the Cookiebot script allows Smush to load, the event has already occurred, trapping the script in an indefinite waiting state.
The reason it works when you submit a full opt-in is because that disables the auto blocking function (since nothing needs to be blocked anymore).

You can do a couple of things to prevent this:

    1. Use manual mark up
    2. Force the script to be ignored by the auto blocking feature, by assigning data-cookieconsent=”ignore” to the script tag of the Smush script
    3. Remove the Smush script

Thanks @rvcybot, how can I assigning data-cookieconsent=”ignore”? I have to do this manually and every time smush publish an uptate I have to do this again? If this, I will uninstall it ??

Edit I try to uninstall smush but the problem still persist! The website doesn’t load on auto mode!

It has been reported as resolved, but I have not solved anything. Smush is not responsible for the problem, once I deactivate Smush, I continue to see nothing and remains loading a blank page if the cookie plugin is activated.

    Hi all,
I have same issue, but I don’t have smush installed.
Do you have any suggestion on how to solve it?
    Thanks
