    Hello,

I was pointed to this forum hoping to get a reply from Updraft team.

I’ve got a WordPress blog and earlier today installed Updraft free version.
Then started a backup to Google Drive.

It was taking too long, so I clicked Pause.
That was also taking too long, so I clicked to kill the browser tab showing my WordPress dashboard.
Since then, the whole website won’t load. Is this a white screen of death? Not sure. It won’t even load.
And of course I cannot log in to my website/wp-admin to restore or backtrack.

I checked under my hosting provider’s file manager, and as far as I can tell I’ve got all the files under /public_html. But the website is gone.

The backup was split into 5 files: 3 of these are uploads, uploads1 etc. The other two are …themes and …plugins.

    Please advise urgently. Thanks.

    Fotis

    Hi,

It is most likely that the server has crashed. Please check with your host/server admin. Please note that UpdraftPlus use server resources to create backups and some hosts has limited resources only causing the server to crash.

    Thanks,
    Bryle
