• Hello,

I believe that a couple of weeks ago you had a breach in your plugin, which unfortunately took our website out for a day as our host said it was infected with malware, which our IT team had to remove. We now have our site back up and running. However, we are now experiencing problems where some users are searching for our website in a browser, and when they click the link to what looks like our website, it is sending them to a porn site. Apparently this could be owing to an infected plugin, so I am just wondering whether this might be related and whether you have had any other reports of this problem?

I could not find any other way to contact you, so am doing it here.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • would you mind telling me how your it team found the sources of this life ruining malware that was unnaccetpably allowed to infect 6 of my websites…
i have found and removed all jquery’s but i am assuming it is deeply hidden in my SQL.. but if only i could know remotely where.. and i had absolutely no help from them.. my life is on the line so if you could id greatly appreciate

    and for your redirect
it could be google itself who still has a cached crawl of your site
try making it recrawl the site

    Hi Minoumimi,

Oh, they actually just replaced the website with a backup from before it was corrupted, which meant I had to add a few things back in, but it was not such an issue for us. So sorry as that probably doesn’t help you.

But how do you get Google to recrawl a site? THat would be worth trying.

    Thanks,
    Alison
