• Resolved I Putu Adi

Hi, Thanks for making this awesome plugin

a few days ago, my website crash. Error like this.

and I tracked it down one by one, it turned out that the cause was the “podcast player” plugin Ver 6.6.0 by vedatheme.

I can display this error, because I accessed wp-admin via recovery mode.

The error message is as follows:

The error E_PARSEis caused by code in a line 240of the /home/u235371990/domains/putuadi.id/public_html/wp-content/plugins/podcast-player/backend/admin/class-options.php. error message:syntax error, unexpected ')'

Temporarily, I deactivated the plugin. so that my website can be online.

Because if I leave this plugin active, my website cannot be accessed at all, from the front end (putuadi.id) or backend (wp-admin).

Please guide, what should I do?

    Thank You

    Hi there,

Thanks for using the podcast player on your website. I have made some changes to the plugin to resolve the issue. Please delete your already installed podcast player and reinstall it. It should resolve the above error.

Although, the above should resolve the issue. Still to inform you that the error is caused because your website is using an older version of PHP (lower than PHP 7.3). Using older versions is not safe and efficient for your website. Therefore, kindly consider updating PHP on your website.

Inform me for more help or explanation.

    Thanks,
