    Hi there,

we have auto updates enabled for elementor. Update to 3.21.1 from yesterday has completely broken our website. Rollback is not a solution either.

We kindly ask for your support.

    Anything we can do here?

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

This often happens on sites that have some sort of caching going on. Please clear all possible cache, refresh the browser and see if the issue is gone.

if that did not help, try going into the Elementor editor, make a little change and hit the save button. That can also work sometimes.

Tip: do not use auto updates and always have regular, full backups, so you can restore in case of emergency.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Annie,

    thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, clearing cache and refreshing the browser hasn’t helped. I’ve also checked using multiple devices.

We have made very important changes over the last couple of days on our website and our backup is older tbh….

What’s the preffered way to continue here?

    Hi Tobias,

Are you sure all possible cache is cleared, cache can be very persistent sometimes? Is there maybe some server-side cache at your host? Using a CDN by any chance?

The way your layout looks messed up, I often experience this after every big update of Elementor in lots of sites, and it is always solved with clearing cache.

Did you try going into a page, and resave it? That can also be a lifesaver in a lot of cases.

Have you checked your hostingcompany for more recent backups on their site?

    Hi Annie,

thanks for your reply. I’ve managed to fix the issue by regenerating css and data inside elementor’s toolkit.

Thanks for your support nevertheless. Highly appreciated!!

    Hi Tobias,

Oh, that was a good call, glad you figured it out and did not lose all your hard work!

    Have a great weekend!
    Annie
