I don’t want to write a bad review or anything, but one I activate this plugin my website went down with no particular reason, there is no error in error log what so ever.

Can you please, tell me, what are requirements for this plugin?

Maybe something needs to be enabled in PHP or what ever?

    Thank you.

    Hi @komshija,

The plugin doesn’t like when the HTML of the content is badly written; which is rarely the case normally, but if you use an old plugin or a broken plugin, it might happen.

    There are no specific requirements.

Have you checked your PHP Error Logs? That will tell us exactly what the problem is ??

That is strange, because there are no errors in HTML and in error log.

Maybe it is conflicting with another plugin, I don’t know.

i’m having the same issue. its a pretty standard wordpress build using their default theme. are you able to see where the conflict is on our site? its a private site so i don’t want to share the link publicly. we’d really like to use your plugin but every time i activate it the site doesn’t load and the wheel keeps spinning until i deactivate it.

@iversion, please check your PHP Error Logs. If there is a crash in WordPress, there are always logs. If there are no logs, it’s maybe that you don’t have access to those logs, or that they are not being enabled (in that case, it’s important to ask your hosting service). Unfortunately, I can’t guess what the problem is – the plugins work fine on ten of thousands of installs; if there was an obvious issue, I would know (and would have fixed it). But generally, it’s an issue linked to the HTML generated by the site (unfortunately, that’s very hard to debug, but you should see an error in your logs).

    @tigroumeow Hello Jordy,

We are WordPress theme developers and find out the same issue.
I’m sure there are problems with hosting providers, because only 2 of 500 clients complain about website crash after Custom Gallery Links plugin been activated and we don’t have any errors.

We ask providers what’s problem and they say that it’s plugin issue which we can’t resolve.

What would you recommend to do? Maybe a smart advice? ??

    Regards,
    Nas Kadir

    Hi @naskadi,

Please check your PHP Error Logs, that’s really important to know what’s happening.
