Website bottom gray intead of white

  • I created the site in question from another similar site (using Spacious Pro), making changes as needed. I removed the text in the footer because it (legalese for a lawyer site) didn’t apply to this new business. But now that bottom area is grey instead of white. Any ideas?

    While checking your site, I noticed that you might have changed the color from grey to white in your footer. Let me know if you need any more assistnace and I will get back to you.

    All I did was add vertical space ti the right side column. Sort of a no-knowledge way to have less gray at the bottom. But I’m still curious why the (now-less space at the bottom is gray instead of while.

    To change the footer bottom background, kindly navigate to Appearance > Customize > Footer > Footer Bottom Bar, and scroll down to Background color as shown in the screenshot:

    I did Appearance > Customize but then didn’t see “Footer”. Here’s a screenshot of what I saw.

    While looking at the screenshot of the customizer options it is totally different from what the theme has. Here is the screenshot of the cutomizer settings that is currently available: https://prnt.sc/X5ekKVTyHG2e

    The issue might be if you are using an outdated version of the theme, or a child theme to override theme’s original setitings.

    Thanks, but this thread is no longer meaningful because (for other reasons) I had to start completely over creating a new WordPress site. I already have questions about that which I’ll post soon.
