Website behave strangely

    I’m facing a strange problem. I choose a static page, namely Home, as my front page as well as posts page too. after upgrading to latest version of worpress, whenever I published a new page it becomes the frontpage automatically.

    I’m trying to identify the problem by activating and deactivating the plugins (w3 total cache, yoast seo, jetpack, wordfence etc) but failed to recognised the problems.

    I’m using a child theme of a free theme namely Artificer.

    Can anybody help me?

  • Have you checked to see if the pages are set correctly under reading settings? This does not sound like a caching issue to me.

    Thank you very much for your cooperation. yes, everything looks ok. my frontpage set as static page, Home and
    my posts page also set the same page, Home.
    but, still I can’t understand how every new page become front/Home page automatically.
