• Last week, we paid the developer from our new hosting provider to migrate our wordpress based website to their server from the old hosting server.
After the migration, the website has become extremely slow.
Our website used to load within 5 seconds on the old server, now it takes 45seconds to load.
The Developer of the new hosting provider doesn’t know why this is happening and couldn’t fix the issue.
Is there anything I could do to fix this issue and make it as fast as before the migration?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I try to visit the website and it took a log time to load. But as soon as the first item is loaded, everything else loaded very fast. I am in Canada and not on a VPN.

This means, time to first byte (TTFB) may be the issue. TTFB issues are often associated with PHP and MySQL/SQL database latency issues. Have you try to speak to the support people at your new hosting provider? They may be able to troubleshoot the problem faster than us here.

@sanujacom Thank you very much for your reply.
I spoke with the support people at the new hosting provider, they said there’s nothing they can do to fix the website. I’m not sure if they looked at troubleshooting TTFB, I’ll speak with them. Can you please also advise if there’s anything I can do from my backend to fix it? Thanks.

    Update –
We have transferred the website to the old server while we work out what the issue is with the migrated site.
Please find below a clone of the migrated site:

We will need to migrate the website to the new server eventually, so this problem still needs to be fixed.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
