• Hi all, this is my first post.

I have a website called thesourcegeek.com it is suppose to be a site that has tutorials and stuff, usually about programming, some basic linux stuff and so on.

I have had to reinstall this website three to four times in the past year because it is always getting hacked. I just wanted to ask do you think that could mean that there is something wrong with the shared hosting that I have?

This last hack the guy seemed to have logged in with admin as his username but I only had two users, none where admin. Also I have a plugin that limits the login attempts and I was using wordfence(That’s how I knew what he used to login with). Are there any issues with stuff like this or could it be that my hosting company is just a bad place to host wordpress sites?

    NOTE:
I have two other website built with Laravel, these have never been hacked and the one website is hosted the the same company that the wordpress site is hosted with.

Just so you know that I am not hating WordPress, I have recently started going through the docs and stuff as I want WordPress to be my goto cms ??

Any ideas on this would helpful, thanks.
