I have a new (2-week-old) website (First time building a website in WordPress!). The Google Search Console shows that I have not gotten any traffic from search. I am concerned because even when I put the full web address into google search, it does not come up and I am wondering if I did not set something up correctly. The site has 41 indexed pages and all according to Yoast are “green” for both SEO and readability

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @riseconsulting

I have checked using the site: operator and noticed the site is indexed in Google Search Engine Result Page. Please check the screenshot.

I have checked the sitemap and noticed it is loading correctly. Also I checked the robots.txt file and I would suggest using the directives we suggest.

To find out more on why you don’t have a lot of traffic, I would suggest following the article Debugging drops in Google Search traffic and check your Google Search Console account.

Using Yoast SEO does not guarantee high rankings and traffic for your site because Google Rankings depend on many factors. These factors include server load, page speed, cache configuration, mobile versions, responsiveness, and the site’s content, many falling outside the plugin’s scope. Optimizing your content will help increase organic traffic and earn higher rankings in the search results.
