Webpages take 50 seconds to load after cleaning cache

Hi,

You need to load a page to generate the cache of this page that’s why it takes longer. The good news is that it seems that the cache system is working well.

The bad news is that you have a problem on your pages, 50 sec is way too much. Can I have an URL?

Could you try to activate PHP7 on your server and check on the plugin dashboard if Gzip is activated or if it returns a warning?

We currently don’t have PHP7 installed but I am going to look into that.
In the speed analysis it says GZIP: 100/100 so I’m assuming that means it’s working right?

OK it seems that when the page is cached it’s loading pretty fast but it’s not the case when the cache is not served, you may have a problem with a plugin.

OK it seems this is a server side problem, your time to first byte is really really slow, it takes arround 7 sec to reply: https://www.webpagetest.org/result/170802_KH_KBK
You need to check that with them.

Then the whole page loading is correct, arround 3 sec.
