Webpage loads again before scrolling to anchor

    My scroll to anchors are working except on the first load of the page. I am making a one page website and would like each link to scroll down to the anchor. The first initial click to a link reloads the whole page and then goes to the link and then they are all working smoothly. I would like to avoid the page having to reload before the scroll to anchor works. How can I fix this? Log in to view page is username: everyidea password: every355wp!

    Sorry, but I’m afraid I can’t help you.

    • Access to your website is blocked with a .htpassword (401-Authorization Required).
    • I have no information about your server setup (PHP-Version, WordPress-Version, used theme and plugins) or possible error messages (WP-Debug, console of your browser’s developer tools).
    • I don’t know how you set up the anchors. It seems, a couple of users miss the point to add anchors through the icon in the formatting toolbar.
