Webpage is shown as NOT SECURE – tried everything

This may be the cause:
Mixed Content: The page at 'https://webartwork.de/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'https://webartwork.de/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/bkgd_bw2-1.jpg'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.

I deleted the picture already in WordPress. Now I deleted it on FTP. Still have the same problem.

Try Clearing ALL cache

Still the same.

Install the plugin Better Search And Replace. Search for https://example.com and replace with https://example.com

Done. Still the same problem. It′s so annoying

I’m out of ideas. Perhaps someone with more ideas chime in ??

In my browser console, I still see this mixed content error:
(index):1 Mixed Content: The page at 'https://webartwork.de/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'https://webartwork.de/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/bkgd_bw2-1.jpg'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.

Me too. But I deleted this image already.

Then try:
– Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches. Not just your browser, but any op cache or content network cache as well such as Cloudflare. That will solve many weird JavaScript issues.
– Flushing Managed host caches. Managed WP hosting often has special caches. If your host has a “Purge Varnish” or “Flush Memcache” tool, try that. You can ask your provider to flush memcache and Varnish for you if necessary.

Tried all of that. It′s still NOT SECURE. If anyone has an idea!?! Thanks so far ….
