• I can’t access my webpage https://www.ainhoavega.com nor the WP backend. When I try, a PHP file automatically downloads to my computer. I tried deleting the WP through ftp and reuploading, but no luck. Any help would really be appreciated!

It looks like php is not configured correctly on the server. Your hosting company should be able to fix it for you.

For security you should probably change your database password as all of your php files can be downloaded, including your wp-config.php.

Thanks, I’m going to contact my hosting company right now. How can I change my database password though? Sorry, I really don’t know much about the stuff…

For now edit your wp-config.php so that there’s XXXXXXXXXX or similar in place of where the password is currently. You should be able to do this using filezilla.

You may have to ask your host how to best change the database password as you may not have access to phpMyAdmin. There may be a ‘change database password’ option in your hosting control panel though – it depends on your host.

Once PHP is working correctly (but not until it is) put your NEW database password into your wp-config.php to replace the XXXXXXXXXX.
