    Hi

I recently changed from using QuicCloud to Hostinger’s CDN, which is LiteSpeed enabled.
Since then, any images I upload, although they are being optimised (I know this by looking at the file size in Dev Tools > Inspect, although the images are missing the webp suffix in the file name), when I look in WP Admin > Media Library > LiteSpeed Optimisation column, it is blank for each image.

I spent 3 hours with Hostinger Help yesterday trying to find a fix, but their recommendation is to just go back to using QuicCloud, which I don’t want to do, thinking ahead!

We thought maybe it is a browser issue, so I cleared all browser caches, flushed the CDN cache using hPanel, purged LiteSpeed’s cache, and used Chrome Incognito and Firefox Private to view the page and WP Admin but the issue still remains.
I also tried changing every image in Media Library back to full size using the LS plugin, clearing/flushing/purging all caches, then changing back to WebP.

I’ve checked all the settings in the LS plugin, that are recommended by Hostinger, and they’re all correct.

    Report number: VEZSKOAD

Thanks in advance for any pointers you might have!

I’ve just remembered, I also tried deactivating all plugins and changed the theme to twenty twenty-four. No change.

Also, in the link above, the top image is one I added before I changed to Hostinger CDN (optimised, % of optimisation can be seen in Litespeed Optimisation column in Media Library and has webp suffix) and the lower image was added afterwards (optimised but % of optimisation can’t be seen in Litespeed Optimisation column in Media Library and has no webp suffix).

    Hi

    Thanks for your reply.

Could you be more specific, please? I’m not sure what you mean.

When I upload an image into Media Library, it should then be automatically optimised by WebP at the host’s CDN, shouldn’t it?

That’s how I did it in the past, when I was using QuicCloud, and it worked fine.

they are not even same image

    and I was asking this

    Thread Starter jasperdemann

    (@jasperdemann)

Yes, I know they’re not the same. I was showing you that the LiteSpeed Optimisation column has no information in it since I changed from QuicCloud.

Okay, but the three images below those I have just uploaded have been in the Media Library since January and February and there’s still nothing in the LiteSpeed Optimisation column and they don’t have a webp suffix on the file name when using Inspect.

    Hi
Unless I’m misunderstanding what you’re asking me to do, I think there seems to be some confusion over what my problem actually is.
    To clarify:
When I upload an image into my Media Library and add it to a post/page, I don’t have to do anything else at the back end; I can immediately open the post/page from my website and using Inspect, I can see its size is reduced by around 60-80%, so I know the image has been optimised.

The issue I’m facing is that since I changed from QuicCloud to Hostinger’s CDN, as you can see from the screenshots I previously sent, there are no details in the LiteSpeed Optimisation column in the Media Library, and even though the image has been optimised, there is no webp suffix at the end of the image URL.

please do me a screenshot on image optm summary page like https://vital50plus.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Screenshot-196.png

no , CDN is independent , irrelevant , and has nothing to do with image optm

it doesn’t matter what cdn you have, or no cdn at all
