Hello, I’m loving this plugin, this is the first client I try it with and I’m sure it will come a regular use in our company. What I’m looking for is an integration with the following plugin (wich is awesome too):
AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages for WordPress
The integration I’m talking about is the following (theese are the options I have checked in the config panel):
    – Deliver the WebP versions of the images in the front-end
    – Using the <PICTURE> tag syntax
    – Global (processes the whole output buffer before sending the HTML to the browser)
The thing is that AMP for WP is still serving .jpg images and we cannot find anyway to solve this. Any help will be very much appreciated ?? We would love to take advantage of the Webp format specially in AMP pages and Chrome!
    Thanks again

You can see the site AMP version with the /amp? at the end of the URL

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hey @drasier thank you for your kind words and for your suggestion.

ShortPixel has a couple of different options to serve the WebP it creates, have you tested them on your AMP-powered website?
If you still cannot make your AMP+WP website serve WebP images using ShortPixel please contact us mentioning this ticket and we’ll be happy to assist you.

We also invite you to give new plugin of ours a try, it serves scaled&optimzed images from ShortPixel CDN and also serves WebP to any WebP-aware browser:
    ShortPixel Adaptive Images

I would appreciate your follow-up on this ticket, thank you,
    Alex

Thank you for your quick response Alex!
Yes, I’ve tried all the possible options in the plugin and tested on Chrome (vieweing the AMP version) and still see the .jpg
We are currently using Cloudflare… Can I try your new plugin with this in mind?
    Thanks a lot

Ah, it is because of Cloudflare, please check out this explanation here.

You could try our new plugin while having Cloudflare active but it won’t work as expected. Better (temporary) deactivate Cloudflare and just test our plugin.
