    Hello, all together,
Sorry for bringing this topic back to this forum.

On my website, I use the Cloudflare CDN in combination with the WP Super Cache plugin. To improve my page speed, I also want to implement the WebP file format for my images. As far as I know, WP Super Cache does not support WebP at the moment.

Has anyone an idea if this will change shortly, or if I can use a workaround?

I appreciate all the hints! Thank you very much in advance!

    Hi @dronetraveller,

The plugin doesn’t do anything for images. We could ask @donncha for this feature request, but I think that WPSC will not support something like this.

You’ll need to fix that separately. You could install plugin Jetpack, EWWW Image Optimizer or similar plugins. They are working without issues with WPSC.

    Hi @sa?a,
Thank you for your response. I use the EWWW Image Optimizer (Alternative WebP Rewriting) already, but it seems that this combination does not work when I use Cloudflare.

Now I stuck at this point.

Did you use CDN from WPSC? I’ll try to reproduce this issue if you send more details about setting and issue.

No, I only use Cloudflare. The CDN Support of WPSC is deactivated. Thank you very much for your efforts!

In this case, I think that should use Cloudflare options for WenP, but I think that isn’t free. Anyway, you could ask Cloudflare support for more details.

I think that EWWW Image Optimizer (Alternative WebP Rewriting) isn’t compatible with Cloudlfare (which you’ve already written) and probably it’s similar situation with all WP plugins.

    You are welcome!

Okay, the EWWW documentation implies that WebP should work with Cloudflare. I wrote them and will tell you what they answer.

Cloudflare requires the Alternative WebP Rewriting function or you can use their Polish feature, which is available on their paid plans.

    Thank you so far!
