WebP support

  • Hello
    YASAKANI Cache work fine but still one future is a must, WebP support.
    In my side, Already for each media exist a WebP version file side by side, For example test.jpeg , test.jpeg.webp ( This task can easily done by other plugin/tools )
    Page cache processing generated by YASAKANI Cache must detect if there is .webp available then server the WebP to visitor instead of jpeg,PNG

    jpeg or WebP output should be selected according to the support status of the accessing browser as well as the availability of image files.

    In general, picture tags are used, or the web server determines the browser’s compatibility and switches the image file.

    Therefore, page cache plug-ins do not usually make direct decisions on image selection.

    For automatic conversion to WebP images or switching image types with browser support, we offer another plugin

    I am using IIS 10 webserver.
    conversion to WebP images is not need for me and already WebP version of images are ready to use side by side of origin files.
    But decisions and server is need . If you have a test plugin please provide me.
    Some other cache plugin like cache-enabler can make this decisions and server WebP.
    I am interest to try YASAKANI Cache but WebP is am must todays.

    It more than one week issue exist and no way to download “Realtime Image Optimizer (Test version)” .

    We don’t know the cause, so please tell us more about what kind of error you are getting.
