WebP support

    Is WebP support planned? Most browsers are ready, but the conversion feature of WebP Express is sadly not working for us. To ensure compatibility I’d love if Tiny Compress Images offered this so I don’t have to rely on an external plugin or just rely on backwards compatibility settings of WebP express without using the conversion feature.

    Hi,

    We currently have no specific plans yet on when to add support for WebP images. The feature is on our list of things to do, but we can’t promise anything yet.

    Thanks in any case for the request. The more requests we get the more important the feature gets.
