webP not working

Is your server running apache, or litespeed, or nginx, or something else?

I am not using a CDN (to the best of my knowledge)

I believe our server runs Apache (from Just Host)

Are you using anything like Cloudflare?
Double-check with your webhost on the Apache question, the rewrite rules ONLY work with Apache and Litespeed.

We are not using cloudflare.

I checked with justhost, they run their own system, not Apache and Litespeed.

Then you’ll need to work with them to figure out how to replicate the rewrite rules (if possible), or just wait for the “WebP for CDN” feature in the next release. It should work with any setup (not just CDNs), at least that is the plan.
