• Hi, I have a problem with your plugin.

The plugin generates on Chrome both jpg and webp images and I can see the website takes the tag that load the jpg file and not the webp. Infact, if I delete the img tag in the inspector, the image disappear. Why the webp is not loaded?

In addition this situation creates a problem of serving resources from a consistent url, in fact GT metrix alerts me of identical contents served from different URLs and this slow down performance and final speed results.

Can you help me solve this issue? Thanks very much

  • Hi @alecss,

I believe you have enabled replace img tags option under settings which is why you are seeing multiple image URLs in source (please see this screenshot.)

I tried accessing one of the webp image directly but I got 404. Are you sure that plugin has an option available to convert images to webp?

Hi there, thanks for replying. I have disabled the plugin that generates the webp images, because it produces a duplicate and finally it’s not a really good improvement in performance.

I don’t know how to use correctly webp in WordPress.

Can you share the settings you used when this plugin didn’t work for you?
