    Hi,

I use Cache Enabler together with Autoptimize. I see that Cache Enabler has an option to ‘Create an additional cached version for WebP image support.’ while Autoptimize has an option to ‘Automatically serve “next-gen” WebP image format to any browser’. What’s the difference between the two and should I have them both enabled?

    Thanks!

You have to enable the option “Create an additional cached version for WebP image support.” if you want to deliver WebP images. I’m not sure about the AO option but you should only enable it if you are using “next-gen”.

FYI: AO uses JS (integrated into a lazyloading solution) to differentiate between browsers with and without webp support KeyCDN.
