webp image not loading

That’s because the <img tag in the original HTML (before being autoptimized) already has a data-src attribute, so AO bails on lazyloading those images to avoid breaking something.

so how can i try to make that images webp ands see if it braeak, and if it does i will undo it

you cannot, AO refuses to lazyload if the data-src attribute is present.

so is there any way i can lazy load those pictures with other plugins ,if iam ready to sacrifice webp

well, you could try e.g. Rocket Lazy Load or A3 lazy load maybe?

almost forgot; try “shortpixel adaptive images”, it is the half-sister of image optimization in Autoptimize (both use the same shortpixel CDN), also does lazyloading and it might well be able to make those 500px prod. images webp as well ??

I have a similar problem the files in the webp format are not loading. I’m using shortpixel via Autoptimize.

but when I have installed site copy in a different server webp files are now loading

i have found the problem why webp is loading with w3tc
when i disabled Optimize HTML Code? in autoptimize webp is getting loaded along with w3tc enabled,,so is the bug present in auto or w3tc
but i wish to enable Optimize HTML Code? is there any way

W3TC’s HTML minifier overrules AO’s. Either don’t optimize HTML or consider replacing W3TC with another page caching plugin?

but iam using cloudfare and there are no plugins which takes care of cache and cloudfare

now that i have disabled autos html optmize iam seeing some new errors
gtmetrix specify image dimension all are pointing towards shortpixel cdn
this issue wasnt there before

now there is no interference between ewwww ,w3twith auto

if your images don’t have width/ height set, then you’ll get this warning. AO does not add or remove dimensions in the HTML.
