webp image is not working

    Hello there, thank you for the plugin. I have enabled site acceleration from the setting, and I am using chrome but webp images and not working for the site. please tell me a way for fix this. Thank you so much for your time and support.

    I have not uploaded any new pictures, I’m expecting it to work with the old pictures as explained and expected to work.

    The images are working for me in Chrome. Do you have any extensions enabled? Which version are you using?

    I’m using version 76.0.03 up to date. And it’s still not working and I also tried incognito mode but still not working. How do you actually check it? I save it and it saves as jpg format.

    Which images exactly are not working? Please give a link to a specific post or page on your site where images are appearing as broken to you.

    Also please take a screen shot of what you’re seeing. You can upload it to https://snipboard.io/, and share the link here so we can see it.

    Do the images appear if you switch off the site accelerator feature?

    The images are showing up fine all the time. But I want to know how to check if webp is working because google page speed says you should use webp for images. I turned it one but don’t see it working. You can check the link above and see the blog posts. I’m not sure if images in webp are served or how to check them. Thank you so much for the support.

    Jetpack Site Accelerator supports WebP, and has since 2015:

    If your site is viewed on any browser that supports WebP, all JPEG images on your site will be served as a WebP image.

    You won’t “see” it working. All you’ll see on your site is the image being loaded. Whether or not it’s a WebP image that loads is something the CDN handles in the background.

    Google Pagespeed Insights are not able to detect that the CDN serves WebP images, but that’s a problem with Google’s tool, not with the CDN.

    i fuigered it out, I opened the photo on another tap and it shows jetpack logo on top. I think it is working. thank you guys.
