If you have wepb images they are converted to webp again.

For example world-pulse-image-01-jpg.webp was created as world-pulse-image-01-jpg-webp.webp

Hi, thanks for reporting, but I tried a lot and couldn’t repeat the error.
Are you sure you don’t have any other active plugins that optimize images? I’m asking you because my plugin doesn’t add the extension name.

For example, image-01.jpg when converted becomes image-01.webp and not image-01-jpg.webp. It is possible to rename the images, but I have not planned to add the extension.

Can you tell me how you configured the plugin and what other plugins you have installed so I can do more thorough testing to make sure there are no errors.

    Thanks again

@giuliopanda i tried to reproduce this again but webp images are not generating that name anymore. I will mark this as resolved.

Maybe a good option will be excluding or skipping webp images to convert them again, if you want to run the process and you have 1500 images where 1000 are webp and 500 are jpg or png you will need to wait for the 1500 images to be converted. Just an idea.

    Thanks for this work

I forget marking it as resolved.

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll check now because I think I had already inserted these controls. However, the program always checks all the images because in addition to converting them, it crops and renames them. Then I don’t advertise it very well yet but always check the thumbs again.

Thanks for the checks, they are very important to me because they allow me to improve my little program.
