webp image alt text

    I recently started the webp conversions, and after 400 conversions, I realized it wasn’t transferring the alt text. So now, I have to do that all manually or manually replace all the images, since just deleting them will remove them from their posts.

    I did not set it to delete the originals.

    Is there any way to revert all the images back to their originals in their posts?

    Hello

    In Images > Compress Images > WebP conversion untick Create WebP version of image to stop serving the WebP version of the image.

    Under More options there is also the option to Restore all compressed images to restore the original image. Please note that it only restores the original image – to restore the other sizes you would need to use a plugin such as Regenerate Thumbnails.
