Hi, In previous version you had an option to create webP versions of my existing images. In this new version I don’t see that option. How can I create webp versions of the existing images on my site that are currently not WebP with SG Optimize?

    Hello @mmenigma,

You can go to the plugin Media page and enable “Use WebP Images” option.

Enabling WebP will re-generate all existing WebP images, if any and will generate new WebP versions of all existing standard images.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I did that several days ago yet a number of my images were not regenerated into webp and are still getting served as .jpg or .png. I have tried regenerating them but still not all the images are getting regenerated.

    Thank you for your update.

In order to have the images served as Webp, make sure to have the Nginx Direct Delivery option enabled on your SiteGround SiteTools -> Cache section.

If the issue persist afterwards you can update this thread and include your website URL, so we can further look into the matter.

Thank you for your cooperation in advance.

    Best Regards,
    Elena
