webp doesn’t work with my website

    Hello,
    I really need your help because webp images are not working on my site.
    I only have image.jpg and image.bk.jpg. but no image.jpg.webp.
    Could you help me ?

  • Hi @lapomme, may I confirm that you are already followed these steps to request a webp version from image optimization? If yes, could you check on the media page and find are those “WEBP” icon dimmed (greyed out)?

    do you see .webp files in your directory ?

    I randomly checked few images, it seems all the .webp URI gives me 404 error.

    No, there is no .webp. Only my .jpg and .bk.jpg.

    Hi,

    May I know that you have set “Optimize WebP Versions” to “ON” in the first place ? or only enabled it after you have finished image optimization ?
